9. Kansei: The Second Turn (Sakevisual)

While Backstage Pass may be the most popular title in the Sakevisual catalogue, Kansei: The Second Turn remains the keystone to the entire body of work. Everything goes right here for Jisei’s sequel. The expanded run time allows us to get a better feel for the entire cast, including our main character Kangai/Alex. We also get a better take on the mystery elements of the first game: expanding the larger world while keeping emphasis on the murder at hand. ‘Balance’ is the name of the game as far as the narrative goes and everything clicks so well here, while the completionist in me will tell you to play the full series, you can easily start here and not miss a beat. It’s just a day where everything went right at the Sakevisual offices. Here’s to many more good days for the team.
