41. SC2VN (Team Eleven Eleven)

Despite the overwhelming popularity of sports manga and anime, it hasn’t translated to much Western media. SC2VN attempts to bridge that gap and what we get is not only a solid ‘sports’ feel with rival drama and all of the archetypes that makes this subgenre fun, but also a great story about what happens behind-the-scenes of, well, shall we just put the umbrella around ‘following your passion’? Mach, the Protagonist, is simply put; not good enough yet decided to get into this particular field anyway because they don’t know what else to do in life. The reality of what they have to do and the unglamorous life they have to live in order to achieve what they’re telling everyone around them they want to. The dramatic core of the game is based on whether or not Mach can stomach the pressure and be the person they want to be and I am here for it.
