I hope you all enjoyed those last few entries of levity and optimism, because as the regulars will tell you; the gold standards around here are written in blood. We. The Revolution embodies that frighteningly well as you take on the role of a French judge during the Reign of Terror. While there are several mechanics to keep in mind, the dark reality is the point isn’t to serve justice and you will very quickly find yourself ‘retired’ if you do. You have to manage the mob, Robespierre and your conscious as Paris spirals into darkness. You will do terrible things in the name of France: there is no way around it. I attempted to stream this and myself and my audience all tapped out around five cases in. It is that grim and the game does not let up until the final chapter.
